Location: The role is available in Spain, in a fully remote model.
TasksDevelop and enhance the data infrastructure which is the technological backbone for our data products and analytical data platform.Get the chance to solve interesting problems by using a broad variety and large amounts of data from Oetker Group companies and Oetker Digital's ventures.Support the growth of our Data & Insights Team and help build up a team setup characterized by autonomy, trust, ownership & alignment, while promoting our data-driven culture.Work closely in cross-functional Product Teams with experts from our Engineering, Product, and Domain Teams on challenging data topics and products.Mentor and develop (Junior) Data Engineers.RequirementsWide experience in the agile Data Engineering space with a solid track record in Data Product Development.Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL for data engineering.Experience in designing, developing and maintaining data processing systems and data pipelines for batch and stream processing at scale (e.g. using Spark, Hadoop, or similar).Experience in workflow management systems or schedulers, e.g. Airflow (preferably), Prefect, or Luigi for job scheduling and orchestration.Deep understanding of Cloud Data Platforms like Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure.Fluent in English.Nice to haveAdvanced knowledge of GCP's Big Data products, such as BigQuery, PubSub, DataProc and Cloud Storage.Good understanding of Jenkins-based CI/CD pipeline.Know-how of other data storage technologies (NoSQL / RDBMS) such as Hive, HDFS, MongoDB, or Cassandra.BenefitsRemote position, work from anywhere in Spain.Flexible working hours to maintain a healthy work-life balance.25 days of vacation per year.Annual personal development budget up to €1,500.Inspiring colleagues: we work in international and talented teams.Cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams with flat hierarchies and fast decision-making where you can make an impact.Choose your tech: Mac/Windows laptop.
