About the RoleYou will be responsible for our data infrastructure, as part of our Data and Insights team in order to:
Take ownership and lead development of our data infrastructure, building and maintaining our data lake and data warehouse, supporting our data insights, product managers and other stakeholders to have access to the data;Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions and data pipelines in support of data and analytics projects;Align with the technical strategy of being integration first, being able to design and deliver solutions built by integrating managed services in AWS, and selecting the right solutions for the task at hand;Contribute to support our personalization and insights solutions;Rethink our data infrastructure, contributing to define and implement a unified data company architecture and the reporting solutions; making it simpler, reliable and able to attend our customers and stakeholders needs;Build reports and data visualizations, using data from the data lake and other sources;Use APIs to push and pull data from various data systems and platforms;Deal with schema evolutions with solutions such as a schema registry of Confluent, and data formats like JSON, Avro, Parquet, and Protobuf;Monitor and ensure reliability for all data pipelines;Improve the quality and reliability of data by using different approaches to combine different datasets;Ensure Company best practices deliver production-ready, industry-quality solutions;Leverage Terraform to automate the provisioning, orchestration and management of various AWS infrastructure components.About YouYou have 5+ years of experience working in data engineering, particularly in AWS;You are a self-starter professional able to work autonomously and jump quickly to find solutions;You have experience building analytics solutions; Machine learning expertise is a great plus;You have a continuous learning mindset with a proven ability to learn new technologies quickly;Strong team player who supports their team in all regards and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team's work;Solid engineering foundations (good coding practices, good architectural design skills);Solid experience with Python, Scala is a big plus;You have some experience working with Kafka, Airflow, Terraform, Data warehouses and databases;Experience building dashboards in Quicksight, Looker, Tableau, or any other business grade solution.Why Koa Health?We are at the forefront of innovation in the MedTech arena, working on one of the hottest topics of today - behavioral health.
