What You'll DoManaging the day-to-day operation of big data technologies and ensure consistent performance and reliabilityParticipating in on-call shiftsAddressing complex problems in our data infrastructure and implement robust solutions that align with our growth strategyCollaborating with cross-functional teams to drive best practices in data platform architecture, tools, and technologiesEngaging in continuous learning to keep pace with the latest developments in the fieldMaintaining and implementing new features to the data transformation architecture which is the backbone of the analytical data platform at our clientDelivering high-performance data processing solutions that are efficient and reliable at scaleWhat You HaveProficiency in coding with Python, Bash and SQLHands-on experience with DatabricksBig data platform support / on-call experience preferably with DatabricksExperience operating and evolving data & release management pipelinesUnderstanding of data mesh architecture and data access control mechanisms (e.g ABAC, RBAC)Experience in Implementation and Operating Big Data technologies (preferably with Databricks)Good understanding of Apache Spark (Batch & Streaming) and performance tuningHands-on experience in cloud technologies and familiarity with cloud deployment models.
