Atradius has more than 150 offices, access to credit information on 52 million companies worldwide, and makes over 22,000 trade credit limit decisions daily.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Insurance Data Analyst, your goal is to translate business and report requirements into data, rules, and logic to provide this as input to the Data Engineers of the Data Platform team. This requires a deep understanding of the business data in the various source systems and how this data can be used for the Data Platform. You have a background in Insurance and knowledge of analysis of best practices. Over time, you will build up detailed and wide knowledge about the Atradius domains, products, and systems. You are part of a team that works agile in close cooperation with business and our development partners. The function is at the interface between Business and IT.Responsibilities:Analyse how existing and new data of Atradius systems can be integrated and ingested into the Data Platform.Create data mappings for the data requirements for the Data Platform.Create data descriptions of the required data.Understand how the data links between the different systems.Maintain and create the functional and business data quality rules.Provide guidance and be an active participant in meetings with business and technical colleagues.Ensure that you engage and extract clarity of the requirements and be able to represent this as analysis for the Data Platform team.Skills and Experience:Experience as a data analyst in middle to large companies.5 years of work experience.A thorough understanding of requirements and data management.Experience in business analysis activities.Strong SQL and written skills to express complex data analysis to multiple stakeholders.Develop and maintain good business domain knowledge.Ensure that the produced data is accurate, consistent, and reliable.Strong analytical and conceptual skills used to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources.Ability to deal with details thoroughly, analytically, and precisely without losing the big picture / helicopter view.Ability to remove unneeded complexity without oversimplification.A keenness to keep up with current trends, changing tools, techniques, and business needs.Be able to define deliverables, estimate those, and deliver on time.Great communication skills (written and verbal), stakeholder management, political sensitivity.Effective business function and IT data documentation skills.Strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams.Ability to work in a team environment and efficiently under pressure.
