The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for providing data and technical expertise on data projects for HMG organization.
This person will work with the Global Product Director and Global Data Specialists the in implementation of Data platforms across the world. Together, they will support the product team to align business requirements with functional and technical specification. By providing data expertise and working closely with the product manager, R&D people and other HMG technical teams, the Senior Data Analyst will contribute to the continuous improvement of working practices, application quality, tooling and agile processes.
Main Responsibilities
Technical & Data expertise: Provides the product team with a technical expertise applied to data and solutions
Provides the product team with a data expertise to perform segment mapping of data (Global Taxonomy)
Provides the product team with a data expertise to create powerful visualizations
Work actively with data experts to smooth processes and provide top quality tools
Provides functional and technical specification for projects tasks
Automate daily tasks with technical scripting languages.
Propose and develop statistical analysis to provide the product team with insightful metrics to support Strategy and Client teams
Product development: Actively work with product team and contribute to definition and integration of various data sources
Actively work with the product and R&D team to support the improvement of ID and Non-ID database
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Take an active role in the new product development and innovation process
Develop client use cases with machine learning algorithms in Python
Maintain, improve and develop SQL, R or Python scripts to generate standard results
Previous Experience
3-5 years professional experience
English level - Excellent
Key Competencies
Knowledge in high-level data visualization platforms
Knowledge in high-level technical languages (Python, R, SQL)
Knowledge in Data Science Algorithms
Good interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
Proactive and ability to initiate
Good analytical problem-solving skills
Positive and can-do attitude
