Job Description Seeking people who aspire of moving into data science but already have significant Excel capability and exposure to working in Construction or Engineering , using excel to develop tools that improve the efficiency of an existing process.Typically, with excellent VBA knowledge, Power Query, and exposure to a range of other tools and systems.The successful candidate will provide business analysis expertise for our clients.Minimum 5 years' experience in Data Analyst Considerable experience in working to develop software tools to improve the efficiency of an existing process using the Microsoft stack of products.Primarily in Excel, thus VBA is essential.Understands project and program delivery in the built environment and ideally in the context of a large utility.Who can deal with multiple stakeholders and ideally has some consultancy experience Other responsibilities, to include: Preparing presentation and other materials for client pitches, etc.Inputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database tools Qualifications This role will require good analytic and strong numeracy skills with the ability to understand and present data in different representations.Preferred skills include: Bachelors / Masters Degree in an analytic subject, e.g., Math's, Geography, Engineering, Economics etc. A Level Math's and/or computing Business Analysis qualifications such as BCS or IIBA An understanding of different project delivery methodologies (e.g., waterfall, Agile etc.)Experience with modelling.diagramming applications (e.g.Visio, Lucid Chart, etc.)Problem-solving skills Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.Candidates will be expected to engage with clients and be comfortable in eliciting requirements from non-technical stakeholders.We are looking for people with excellent data focused computing skills and the desire to learn and apply these on major projects and programs.As a minimum we look for those with first class excel capability, Power BI, including DAX and ideally SQL and/or Python.As a consulting business it will be necessary to engage with our clients across Europe to translate user their business requirements into useful business insights.Additional Information Our inspired people share our vision and mission.We provide a great place to work, where each person has the opportunity and voice to affect change.We want our people to succeed both in work and life.To support this we promote a healthy, productive and flexible working environment that respects work-life balance.
