We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team and lead our efforts in securing our infrastructure and data. Position Overview:The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organizations cybersecurity strategies and initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, advanced technical expertise, and a proactive approach to protecting the company's information systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity programs and strategies to protect the company's digital assets.Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration tests to identify potential risks and security breaches.Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, respond to security threats in real-time, and manage incident response processes.Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with industry regulations and best practices (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure software development practices and to integrate security into the DevOps process.Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on emerging cybersecurity threats and the implementation of security technologies.Lead security awareness training programs for employees to foster a culture of cybersecurity across the organization.Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology advancements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).At least 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record in a senior or leadership role.Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and identity and access management (IAM) tools.Experience with cloud security, particularly in environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security solutions.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and act decisively in high-pressure situations.Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
