This is a perfect job for you! You will work at the Operations Control Centre, the place where many of the daily decisions about flights are made. We are looking for a Crew Control Officer to work in our Barcelona Headquarters offices. The job purpose is to assign and support Volotea crews for last-minute duties and leaves in accordance with aviation rules and regulations as well as the company standard operating procedures and manuals.Roles and ResponsibilitiesEnsure that crew resources are managed in the most efficient and cost-effective way, in compliance with set regulatory and company standards.Prioritize safety and punctuality in all crewing decisions.Guarantee that all crew duties are in accordance with the approved FTL scheme.Support and inform the crews about duties and changes by explaining roster changes in a caring and empathetic way.Update systems with the new information.Maintain a standby crew roster to cover available aircraft in accordance with the Standby Crew policy.Manage crew absences and leaves.Liaise with ticketing to arrange positioning duty travel and accommodation for crews travelling.ProfileKnowledge and Previous ExperienceStudies in Aeronautical Management / Aeronautical Engineering or similar.Mandatory advanced English level, both written and spoken (Test will be done during the recruitment process).A high understanding of the aviation operational environment is a plus.Previous experience in crew control management.Willing to work different shifts.Personal ProfileResilient with proven ability to manage complex and unpredictable situations while working within a very fast-moving environment.Ability to handle real-time operational problems and provide sensible and logical solutions.Understanding that the crew is adapting to last-minute changes and managing it with exquisite personal treatment.Volotea offers equal employment opportunity to qualified individuals without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
