In this role, you will be responsible to: Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of inbound and outbound commercial agreements including but not limited to cloud services agreements, license agreements, hosting agreements, IT services contracts, non-disclosure agreements, leasing and contracts, etc.
Work with various stakeholders on a variety of commercial, enterprise and strategic agreements in support of Workato's fast-growing business.
Conduct legal research and distill the issues in a clear and concise manner for various stakeholders who are not attorneys.
Work on other projects as assigned by the Director.
Requirements Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills: Eligible to work in the E.U or U.K without employer sponsorship 4-8 years of legal experience as in-house counsel at a technology company Fluent in English both written and spoken Demonstrated, deep knowledge of SaaS transactions Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, UK Data Protection Act and other global data privacy regulations A great business partner who understands how to appropriately manage risk while helping the business achieve its goals Unquestioned ethics, integrity, and accountability Superior drafting and negotiation skills Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communications skills Must be comfortable negotiating directly with customer counsel Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams located across the globe to achieve Workato's business goals Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics Experience working in a demanding, high-paced, high-volume transaction environment Must enjoy being continually challenged under tight deadlines while demonstrating sound judgment even in ambiguous situations Able to prioritize appropriately and manage multiple tasks A team player who is willing to roll up one's sleeves to get things done A sense of humor Preferred Qualifications Experience with cross-border transactions in the US, EMEA, APJ and LATAM regions Experience negotiating reseller, OEM, and partner agreements #J-18808-Ljbffr
