Job Opportunity
Siemens Gamesa is looking for a Senior Cost & Value Engineering Expert in Power Cabinets, Switch Gear, and Control Cabinets.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to competitiveness and profitability of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy products and solutions through application of Cost and Value Engineering levers and methods.
Support setting of competitive and achievable targets based on assessments.
Support definition and optimization of product architecture and component specifications.
Prepare cost models and data collection for decision-making processes.
Foster cross-functional mindset change towards cost and value awareness.
Contribute to the development of value and cost optimization strategy, standardization, and modularization.
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar technical course.
Several years of professional experience in areas of Procurement Engineering, Cost Value Engineering, Product Development, or relevant functions.
Experience in the field of Switch Gear, Power Cabinets, Control Cabinets, or Converter is desirable.
Fluency in English with either Spanish or German being desirable.
Willingness to Travel annually 25% of the available time.
