Position: Duties: Develop the procedure for measuring and monitoring the progress of the project, ensuring compliance with the applicable methodology.
Cost analysis in relation to estimates, variances, and budget.
Collaborate with the construction and contracting teams in the preparation and reporting of progress curves and project tracking.
Project cash flow control.
Weekly and monthly project control reporting.
Verification of completed work and preparation and approval of certifications.
Support the management team in updating the final estimated cost of the project.
Knowledge of Project Controls, including EVM (Earned Value Management).
Manage pre and post-contract duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
Estimate and cost plan to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
Tender and procure, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report, and compiling the contractual documents.
Take responsibility for timely and accurate cost checks and valuations.
Produce monthly post-contract cost reports.
Interface with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
Participate effectively with post-contract cost variances and the change control processes.
Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts.
Profile: Effective problem-solving identifying potential issues, developing solutions, and implementing plans to address them.
Academic background: Project Management training would be a plus.
Required professional experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in EPC projects.
Languages: Spanish and English (a minimum level of B2 is required).
Location: Madrid (Spain), in the city center.
Geographic mobility: Availability to travel and work at site; the initial EPC project location will be near Valladolid, but willing to then travel internationally later on.
