NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Technical Support for the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor Coordination Platform and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The main objective of this contract is to advance the sustainable development of seamless transport connections between Europe and Central Asia and within the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor.
Location: Astana, Kazakhstan.
Duration: The intended start date is 1st May 2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 36 months from this date.
Key expert: Senior Coordination Expert ? Qualifications and skills: Master's degree (or equivalent diploma) in economics, finance, political sciences, international relations, law or any other directly related disciplines.
In its absence, the Master's degree can be replaced by a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent diploma) plus 2 years of professional experience, in addition to the minimum professional experience required by the profile; Good knowledge of EU decision making processes.
Excellent written and oral communication skills demonstrated by past professional experience (refer to specific experience in publications, drafting of analytical reports, preparation of communication products, speaking engagements, etc.
); Excellent computer skills.
Languages: C1 knowledge in English and Russian; B2 knowledge of Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Turkmen or Uzbek will be considered as an additional asset.
? General professional experience: At least 12 years of general professional experience in public policy formulation and/or implementation of development cooperation projects that include structured processes of stakeholder engagement (e.g.
secretariats, steering committees, and coordination mechanisms).
?Specific professional experience: At least 5 years of management level experience in secretarial or coordination work for sectoral or international organisations, bodies, associations or secretariats that provide services and support to their members/participants, or work in multi-stakeholder projects.
At least 5 years of experience in policy, program or project implementation in EU enlargement countries, European Neighbourhood Instrument, or in Central Asia.
In particular, experience in Central Asia will be considered an asset.
Experience in event organisation is an asset.
