Acting as a trusted legal advisor, you will provide solution-oriented guidance that balances legal rigor with business priorities.In this role, you will engage in a dynamic mix of advisory, drafting, and negotiation work, collaborating closely with key stakeholders across the region.
You will provide day-to-day legal counsel to senior leaders and consultants, offering strategic guidance on a wide range of client-related matters.Your core responsibility will be to structure, negotiate, and execute commercial arrangements in Portugal, Spain, and occasionally other European jurisdictions.
This will involve direct negotiations with McKinsey clients and their legal teams across various industries, ensuring agreements align with the Firm's professional standards, legal requirements, and strategic goals.You will provide solution-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders on a broad spectrum of issues, helping them navigate risk, compliance, and syndication procedures.
Additionally, you will support them through McKinsey's risk and approval processes, including interactions with the Firm's relevant committees.Your work will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts across areas such as M&A, Digital & Analytics, and performance-based fees.
These will include master consulting agreements, study-specific consulting agreements, private equity agreements, waiver letters, confidentiality agreements, statements of work, vendor agreements, and benchmarking agreements.
You will also provide essential legal input for Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, helping teams address complex legal considerations.A key aspect of your role will be creating, updating, and distributing standard contracts and related documentation in alignment with McKinsey's Legal Department policies and procedures.
You will track and manage contract flow, maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date database of contractual arrangements.In addition, you will support McKinsey consultants by providing the appropriate forms of agreement for various engagement-related legal issues
