DNV's energy markets analytics activity is structured around a set of internal processes and tools that combine a fundamental approach (dispatch models) with statistical and artificial intelligence methods that aim to understand and replicate the market agents' interaction with the different power and ancillary services markets.
The Senior Consultant is expected to cover:
Electricity Market Modelling:Markets trends (expansion plan, commodities).Scenario analysis (climate, electrical vehicle, distributed and self-consumption).Medium and long-term forecast.Webservice feeding.Refinement of the tools and models to reach excellence in long term power price forecasting.Market Intelligence: big data, data mining, energy markets analysis, weekly reporting.Interaction with other LATAM and European teams.Interaction with consulting teams in order to ensure perfect delivery of consulting projects.Market analysis (quantitative and regulatory).Market price forecasts (Wholesale, Capacity, Stabilized price, Ancillary Services).Revenue analysis, associated risks.Any other tailormade analysis.Interaction with clients before, during and after consulting projects.What we offer:
