About the Role: We are currently looking for a Senior Compliance and Risk Officer with the best
attitude to encounter disruptive projects in the financial sector. This position
reports directly to the General Counsel for Europe, with direct contact to the
executive committee and governing body.
Responsibilities: Lead the development, implementation, and oversee the company's compliance program, ensuring alignment with local, national and international regulations and guidelines in the fintech sector.
Create, review, and update policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance across all aspects of the business.
Oversight and development of the Group's risk management framework and internal control system.
Identify and assess regulatory, operational, financial, reputational and legal risks of the business, advising in their management and minimization.
Draft, maintain and develop the company's risk registers.
Monitor and report on the company's risks.
Establish, manage and coordinate the Internal Audit Committee and the Internal Control Committee in the company, as well as any other recommended or required bodies.
Lead initiatives to promote a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization, including training programs for employees.
Keep up to date with professional, legal and best practice developments in payments services, regulatory compliance and risk management.
Qualifications: Law graduate.
5+ year experience in compliance and risk in the financial sector (desirable in the payments sector).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
English: Full professional competence (minimum C1).
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office.
