If you share a similar passion for creating welcoming, heartfelt, bold and impactful worlds, join us and together we will write the next chapter in IOI's history.What You Will Do:Develop and oversee the player's combat mechanics, weapons, and abilities, focusing on both ranged and melee combat systems.Drive core combat systems, including camera mechanics, enemy behaviour, and environmental interactions.Collaborate closely with animators, gameplay programmers, and other teams to prototype and implement combat features.Lead combat designs through the full development cycle from concept to release, ensuring a polished and engaging player experience.Utilize metrics, player feedback, and diverse analytics to continuously improve and refine combat systems.Who you are:A Combat Designer with at least 5 years of experience working on multiple titles.Have shipped at least one AAA game where you were heavily involved in, or in charge of, player combat mechanics and abilities.Proficient with visual scripting languages such as Blueprint, Node Graphs, etc.Possess a passion for and deep understanding of third-person combat mechanics, with experience playing a variety of titles.Enjoy working with hands-on prototypes to iterate and refine combat systems.Who we are:IO Interactive is an independent videogame development and publishing company with studios in Copenhagen, Malmö, Barcelona, Istanbul and Brighton.
