SUMMARY OF THE ROLEProvide professional technical advice to our customers through attending key projects and inspections, conducting troubleshooting and complaint handling on site, feeding back product performance to local Technical Team and writing reports in order to ensure projects are carried out according to specification and customer satisfaction and that Jotun is perceived as a preferred supplier in the market.
Requirements:More than 5 years as Coating AdvisorFrosio II or Nace III certificationAdvanced proficiency in EnglishWe offer a Technical Service Career Ladder:Commercial trainingLanguage course (if necessary)CRM and Internal policies trainingFurther external educationAdvanced module (specialist training)Training in lab (test, production and application)Responsibilities:Work independently on site, identifying key projects by planning, coordinating, and monitoring activities to ensure the coating specification is met, and the job is completed according to contract and customer satisfaction.Manage projects where advanced products have been specified by giving clear instructions to clients and relevant Jotun staff in accordance with working procedures to ensure that the specification and customer expectations are met.Carry out inspections of specific projects assigned by the direct manager by working independently, following working procedures to ensure that the product is applied in accordance with the specification.Write relevant reports by compiling data from inspections to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met.Conduct complaint surveys by performing inspections relevant to the complaint to compile an accurate, detailed report to support the investigation phase of the complaint process.Additional Information:The Senior Coating Advisor Level 2 acts as a local specialist for a designated product, area, or service.
