This position reports into Senior Procurement Director EMEA and is based at our South Europe cluster hub in Madrid, Spain.

What you will do The Senior Procurement Manager - South Europe is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and driven procurement professional who is adept at connecting the dots and working as a self-starter. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee procurement activities in the South Europe Cluster, working closely with the Cluster Leadership Team to drive operational efficiencies, transformative strategies, and industry best practices. The Senior Manager will also play a crucial role in connecting Cluster Business Teams with regional and global Category Procurement teams to ensure alignment of initiatives and programs. Additionally, this role will frequently punch above its weight in terms of hierarchy, requiring exceptional influencing skills to achieve objectives and make an impact.
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively connect with suppliers and external stakeholders to bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies for the South Europe region in alignment with global and regional procurement and business goals and objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement best practicesNegotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditionsMonitor market trends and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities to bring the outside inEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsContinuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and effectivenessCo-own the indirect spend budget with the Cluster Leadership team to ensure financial targets are metCommunicate key market trends and cost development as well as the innovation and best practices to stakeholders in order to drive strategic decision makingEstablish and maintain effective communication with vendors to ensure product, service and quality standards are met Qualifications What we are looking for Required Qualifications Minimum of 8-10 years of related experience in procurement or supply chain managementUniversity/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, supply chain management or related fieldStrong understanding of purchasing policies, procedures and performance standardsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsEntrepreneurial spirit and owner's mindset  Desired Qualifications Proven track record of developing and executing procurement strategies that deliver cost savings and improve supplier performanceStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire othersAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams of different hierarchical levels and build strong relationships with suppliersExcellent budget management and cost control skillsAbility to analyze market trends and pricing to make informed decisions What's in it for you Competitive Benefit Package* Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time, Summer Fridays & More!
