About the role: As part of the Research Department, the position of Senior Clinical Studies Researcher will have the following mission: to analyze, interpret, and communicate clinical data; contributing and participating as a scientist in all areas of the company that require his deep knowledge.
Key responsibilities: The main functions and responsibilities of the position will be as follows:
Statistical data analysis of clinical studiesTo review, analyze and interpret data/results related to clinical studiesTo write scientific reports and documents, including scientific publicationsManagement of clinical databasesParticipation in the design of clinical projectsParticipation in preparation of documentation for conducting clinical trials (protocol, ethics committee documentation, reports, etc.
)Participation in the follow-up and monitoring of clinical trialsQualifications and skills:
Preferably a PhD in the field of health sciences, with > 6 years working experience in a branch related to nutrition and/or health, preferably in an international company or within academiaHigh level spoken and written English (minimum C1), with sufficient fluency for the presentation of data and writing of scientific articles/reportsWorking experience on biostatistics in clinical studies, demonstrating management of statistical programs such as SPSS/R/STATAExpertise in analyzing and interpreting results from clinical studiesExpertise in writing scientific reports/publicationsKnowledge in database managementKnowledge in project managementKnowledge in follow-up and monitoring of clinical studiesKnowledge of quality standards and legislation applicable to clinical studies and databasesNice to have: experience in one or more of these fields: microbiota/probiotics, cardiovascular health, metabolic syndrome, immune system, obesity, bone health.
As well as computer skills and ability to adapt to new technologies.
Infrequent travel internationally, with location either in Granada or Madrid.
