Together, we're working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world's biggest health challenges.Position Overview The Clinical Sales Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for market development of the MeMed host response technology by establishing and positioning the solution that best aligns with health system/hospital goals for improved patient care through better infection detection in the European Market. This position is part of the European organization and will be fully remote, based in the UK or Spain with approximately 75% travel throughout Europe.Responsibilities Develop a network of clinical experts in host response and infection control.Uncover medical needs, translate those needs into simple solutions and lead complex collaboration projects successfully, creating genuine win-win solutions.Support local scientific meetings, medical congresses, advisory boards, and training activities.Present the value proposition of MeMed host-response technology from Beckman Coulter.Build a solid funnel of opportunities with University Hospitals and Commercial Labs across Europe.Generate proposals for customers, negotiate terms with customers, close the sales process and get contracts signed.Support the customer during the clinical evaluations of MeMed host response technology.Minimum Requirements The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years of experience, or 7+ years of experience with a Master's degree or Ph.D with 3 years selling within hospital settings.Understanding of hospital policy deployment, care pathways, and protocol development will be critical to successfully build and executing the strategy.Experience with clinical research and publication activities.Skilled ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to multiple stakeholders from hospital staff to executive-level.Business case and ROI model development.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Driven to achieve results and goals. Comfortable with up to 75% overnight travel.Fluent in English – must, and at least one other European language (preferably Spanish)
