Estimate Pay: $92,000 - $95,000 per year (Negotiable) Type of Employment: 40 hours per week.
Period of Performance: 09 February 2025 - 08 February 2027.
Paid Time Off per Year: 80 hours per year, occurring on day one.
Sick Leave per Year: 56 hours per year, occurring on day one.
Paid Federal Holidays: Eleven (11) Paid Federal Holidays Travel: Travel is authorized Working Hours: Work will be scheduled normally from 7:30 a.M. to 4:30 p.M., Monday through Friday.
However, there may be times when the employees must work after duty hours or on weekends in support of specific tasks.
Although the schedule may have to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week.
Temporary alternate work locations may be assigned.
Mandatory Qualifications: Shall have an Advanced degree (PhD) in Clinical, Counseling, or Clinical Health Psychology from an accredited institution.
An approved APA-accredited internship.
An active state license in good standing to practice clinical psychology.
Possess board certification in Clinical Health Psychology or Behavioral Sleep Medicine.
Candidates without these additional certifications will be considered.
Have at least five (5) years of operational or medical leadership experience with Air Force populations within the last 10 years.
Have experience as an operational psychologist, aeromedical psychologist, director of psychological health, leadership position in an Air Force medical treatment facility, or other operational position that would have provided the candidate with a broad understanding of the system in which the Air Force Warfighter operates.
Have at least two (2) years of research and program development within the last 10 years.
Relevant experience focused on design, development, application, and evaluation of human subjects experiments and data collection.
Demonstrated experience in operational positions or by publications in peer-reviewed psychological or related journals.
Have graduate course work and/or experience in clinical research design and development, and in writing published peer-reviewed behavioral science research reports.
Highly Desired Qualifications: Currently possessing a Tier 3 Security Clearance Duties/Responsibilities: Exhibit competence in the rigorous methods of scientific inquiry and analysis.
Employ scientific and analytical techniques to define, quantify, and recommend the feasibility of assigned projects, studies, or problems.
Perform independent analysis leading to unique analytical research proposals and studies
