The Position As a Senior Data Manager at Novo Nordisk, you are responsible for ensuring timely and high-quality data management deliverables for the clinical trials you are involved in.
You will coordinate and execute data management activities through trial planning, setup, execution, and closure, as well as supervise and evaluate the data management processes throughout the life cycle of a clinical project.
Working closely with colleagues in our global Data Management organization, as well as being an integral part of the clinical trial team, is an important part of the role.
You will act as the bridge between our many stakeholders and the data management colleagues involved in your clinical trials with a key focus on clear communication.
Being innovative and developing fit-for-purpose solutions, sharing your knowledge with peers, and being an active partner in transformational activities is a key priority for Trial Data Management.
This requires us to excel in our project leadership, our communication, and it requires us to have a solid understanding of the data we collect to provide meaningful insights for our stakeholders.
Please note we are open to hiring at more senior titles commensurate with experience.
This position is based in Madrid or home-based in different locations in Spain.
Qualifications B.Sc.
or M.Sc.
within Life/Natural/Health science, clinical information management, or computer science.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Clinical Data Management gained from the pharma industry and managing large and complex trials.
Experience with the collection and processing of high volumes of complex data.
Experience working with industry-standard clinical data management systems (Inform, Rave, Data Management Workbench, etc.
), relational databases, and data visualization tools.
A solid understanding of GCP and relevant regulatory requirements.
