Our opportunity
We're looking for our new Senior Buyer in Bolivia, who will be a business partner to site managers, product and commercial teams in delivering optimized costs through cost effective, compliant and quality Procurement solutions. Category Responsible in an Area for FCL & FTL products. Responsible for aligning strategies and vendor relationships in close alignment with Area Product Teams.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for FCL & FTL procurement across Maersk Group brands, driving optimization of procurement spend.
Assist in driving optimal pricing structure for land transportation (zones/post codes/distance) and capture data in aligned format with global practice.
Work closely with Commercial departments to develop logistic solutions, support business growth, and identify commercial opportunities.
Manage vendor relationships, perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis, and ensure compliance with Maersk internal policies and procurement guidelines.
Lead and manage projects, teams, and vendor relationships, drive sustainable and profitable growth, and develop Total Value Ownership models in collaboration with Product & Pricing.
Requirements:
Strong experience in similar positions that required negotiation skills and working closely with land transportation employees and vendors.
MS Office: Intermediate
English (written and oral): Intermediate
Strong communication and leadership skills.
