Zinia leverages the technological resources and expertise of Openbank, the digital-native bank of the Santander Group, which is currently rolling out its international expansion plans. Mission:
As a Senior Business Development for Partnerships & B2B Sales, you will be responsible for evaluating sales opportunities and business implementation of payment service providers and merchants for our new consumer lending platform, Zinia. You will be identifying partnership opportunities in Ecommerce - PayTech, Aggregators, Marketplaces, focusing on onboarding them for Consumer Credit product offerings (BNPL, instalment loans, etc.), and revenue maximization from existing clients through activation and onboarding of SMEs.
Requirements:
Identifying, negotiating, and onboarding global partnership opportunities in Payment Service Provider, Ecommerce - PayTech, Aggregators, Marketplaces, focusing on onboarding them for Consumer Credit product offerings and revenue maximization.
Manage business P&L and Revenue Generation and launching, building, and activating business and Digital partnerships.
Work together with Farming and Product teams to integrate PSPs, expand use cases, and develop products to solve merchant problems and manage the customer journey and onboarding.
Make pitches and win opportunities with potential partners, maintaining constant engagement with key relationships at the partner level.
Manage customer journey, driving high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Make data-backed analytical business decisions by predicting, controlling, and reducing business risk using data.
To be successful in the role you must have:
5 years of experience in Consultative Sales/Solutions Sales/Digital Partnerships or similar background across Ecommerce, BFS, Financial Institutions, Fintech companies, or Payment gateways (B2B sales, Digital Lending, Fintech, Digital payments).
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or equivalent.
High level of English; other languages (German) would be a plus.
Proven experience in Exponential Business Growth, Strategic Alliances, Product Marketing, and Product Life Cycle Management.
Knowledge of end-to-end digital sales process needs, including Ecommerce best practices, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), web services, payment gateways, and complex pricing and promotion models.
Strong experience in managing small to mid-size teams and engaging with internal teams like Product and IT Operations.
Practical experience in running operations in a fast-paced growth environment.
Strong record of enhancing customer engagement and surpassing revenue & profitability targets for the organization.
Previous experience as a project manager, leading complex projects in a matrix structure.
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
Proactive, independent, analytical, and focused individual with a strong operational & strategic mindset and aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
