The role The job involves sales within the payments industry to upper-level executives of Direct Merchant organizations and/or Partner merchant sales. The goal is to exceed yearly booking and revenue targets through new customer acquisitions. It's important to maintain precise and updated Sales Force reporting for accurate opportunities forecasting. Collaborate closely with various business units, including marketing, product, technology, and operations teams, to identify impactful opportunities and execute partnerships. Utilizing industry connections can aid in revenue generation. Attending important industry events in Europe may require travel.
Requirements The ideal candidate
Proven track record of achieving business development success over 2-5 years, resulting in increased user base and revenue.
Extensive expertise in card processing, acquiring, and online payment technologies. Experience selling payment solutions, both card present and car no present.
Experience with Wallets, Payment Facilitators, Neobanks, Remittance or POS are a big plus. Self-driven individual capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks. Innovative problem-solver with the ability to create new business models. Skilled at offering well-thought-out, actionable recommendations and quickly gaining consensus from senior-level stakeholders, both internally and externally. Proficient in quantitative and qualitative analysis, along with strong problem-solving, organizational, and business judgment skills. Personable, enthusiastic, and persistent with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Familiarity with ecommerce platform providers, system integrators, and their associated technical/payment infrastructure. Proven effectiveness in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Adheres to strong ethics and prioritises a customer-first approach.

Base salary of €60,000 to €75,000 (depending on the candidates seniority and experience) + Performance based bonus (ACV + % of the revenue generated by the merchants)
