Are you ready to join us?As a Business Controller, you work closely with the finance and business management for your scope. You play a critical role in supporting key management decisions by translating business topics into financials and challenging them. You are responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis based on business information. You are in regular contact with other finance colleagues, including the local & global accounting team, other controllers, and the billing and invoicing teams, and have intensive interaction with the business managers. This combination is absolutely key to being successful in this function.Your main areas of responsibility are:Be the finance SPOC and the finance key person for your scope by helping the business translate strategic decisions into financials and using the financials to steer in the right direction.Prepare a variety of financial analyses and presentations independently, providing information to executive management.Understand the business model and market to challenge the business where needed.Manage risks and opportunities together within your business based on financials and discussions.Own the budget, forecast, and long-term planning of your scope.Story-build actuals and challenge the financials in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year, as well as historical trends of your scope.Interact with local accounting and billing/invoicing teams.Provide ad hoc analysis, e.G., business cases to support management with financial decisions.Initiate and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.Participate in local and global initiatives, which may require occasional travel.ProfileMaster's degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance, or similar.5 years of relevant working experience within finance; controlling experience is a must.Pro-active, with a critical mindset and a hands-on attitude.Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to plan effectively and comfortable making critical decisions.Affinity with both business and finance.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Fluent in spoken and written English.Knowledge of the French language is a plus.Experienced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint.Knowledge of SAP4Hana and Power BI is a plus.OfferWork in a dynamic, international, and fast-growing company with ambitious plans for the future – on-the-job training in a role that offers opportunities for growth.Work in a large Finance department with much experience and knowledge, very close to the business
