Are you ready to join us?As a Business Controller, you will work closely with the finance and business management for your scope. You will play a critical role in supporting key management decisions by translating business topics of a broad scope into financials and also challenging them.You will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis based on business information. You will be in regular contact with other finance colleagues: the local & global accounting team, other controllers, the billing and invoicing teams, and have intensive interaction with the business managers. The combination of this is absolutely key to being successful in this function.We offer you a very dynamic working environment, while taking up different challenges, close to the heart of the company and with a good balance between strategic view, routine operations, and ad hoc work.Your main areas of responsibility are:Be the finance SPOC and the finance key person for your scope by helping the business to translate strategic decisions into financials and use the financials to help steer in the right direction.Prepare a variety of financial analyses and presentations independently, providing information to executive management.Understand the business model and market to be able to challenge the business where needed.Manage risks and opportunities together within your business based on financials and business discussions.Be the owner of the budget, forecast, and long-term planning of your scope.Build stories of actuals and challenge the financials in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year as well as historical trends of your scope.Interact with local accounting and billing/invoicing teams.Provide ad hoc analysis (e.G., business cases) to support management with financial decisions.Initiate and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.Participate in local and global initiatives; this may require occasional travel.Profile:Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance, or similar.5 years of relevant working experience within finance; controlling experience is a must.Pro-active, critical mindset, and a hands-on attitude.Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to plan effectively and feel comfortable taking critical decisions.Affinity with both business and finance.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of the Frenchlanguage would be a plus.Experienced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint.Knowledge of SAP4Hana and Power BI is a plus
