Are you ready to join us?As a Business Controller, you work closely with the finance and business management for your scope. You not only play a critical role in supporting key management decisions (translating business topics of a broad scope into financials and also challenge them). You are also responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis based on business information. You are in regular contact with other finance colleagues: the local & global accounting team, other controllers, the billing and invoicing teams, and have intensive interaction with the business managers. Combination of this is absolutely key to be successful in this function.We offer you a very dynamic working environment, while taking up different challenges, close to the heart of the company and with a good balance between strategic view, routine operations, and ad hoc work.Your main areas of responsibility are:Be the finance SPOC and the finance key person for your scope by helping the business to translate strategic decisions in financials and use the financials to help steer in the right directionPrepare a variety of financial analyses and presentations independently, providing information to executive ManagementUnderstand the business model and market to be able to challenge the business where neededBased on financials and business discussions, manage risks and opportunities together within your businessOwner of the budget, forecast, and long-term planning of your scopeStory-building of actuals and challenge the financials, in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year as well as historical trends of your scopeInteract with local accounting and billing/invoicing teamsProvide ad hoc analysis e.G. business cases to support management with financial decisionsInitiate and contribute to continuous improvement of processesParticipate in local and global initiatives, this may request occasional travelProfileMaster degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance or similarYou have 5 years of relevant working experience within finance, controlling experience is a mustYou are pro-active, have a critical mindset and a hands-on attitudeYou have strong communication, problem-solving skills, are able to plan effectively and feel comfortable to take critical decisionsAffinity with both business and financeYou have strong analytical and numerical skillsYou are fluent in spoken and written EnglishKnowledge of the French language would be a plus
