.Job FunctionThe business area in the scope of this job position is Refinish Commercial Excellence globally, within the functional area of Data Management and Analytics.The incumbent will be responsible for defining and implementing the necessary data sets, dashboards, and reports to support the different departments within PPG Refinish globally, including Sales, Finance and Marketing among others.These data sets are based on the different data sources, for which the Commercial Excellence department is responsible for, within the PPG Refinish BU, and globally, including CRM(s), ERP(s), and other internal or external systems supporting the processes led by Commercial Excellence.Position DescriptionDeliver business specifications for new reports in collaboration with the owner(s)/leader(s) of the relevant area.Assist in prioritizing local and central requests for changes.Liaise with the IT organization to identify and implement the necessary environments, BI toolset, and setups to deliver solutions for the different BI projects in the areas in scope.Develop new analysis and reports, as well as implementing fixes and changes to existing ones, following the standard, PPG approved BI tools and processes.Document all BI solutions that are delivered to users, as well as any changes to them.Assist users in troubleshooting the issues they may have with any BI solution led by the team.Work closely with the IT organization to solve any bugs or issues that may occur impacting availability of the reporting systems.Assist in coordinating the testing activities.Train the trainer on new enhancements, features, or reports.Incumbents will ensure data quality and integrity, with the collaboration of both the user and the IT organization.RequiresThe equivalent work experience to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.Experience in Power BI and data modeling and analysis.Knowledge and experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes.Familiar with the MS 365 environment and the MS Power Platform.General understanding of architectures, analytical and design techniques, database technologies, and programming languages.An understanding of basic concepts, terminology and practical application of current and emerging technologies.Ability to effectively participate in teams.High written and spoken English level.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in audience appropriate terms.Ability to work without close supervision, keeping focused on short and long-term objectives.Good organizational skills, very detail oriented.Analytical skills for identifying and solving problems.Ability to lead teams.Success FactorsPrime success factors (Focus on results, Drive change, Promote teamwork, Build trust & respect, Understand market & customer perspective).Making things happen (Take Responsibility, Plan and Organize)
