¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto?
Develop and maintain Scala-based applications and services.
Handle big data processing using Hadoop and Spark frameworks.
Create high-performance algorithms and predictive models.
Work closely with the Analytics team to identify opportunities for system enhancements.
Ensure data security and privacy compliance.
Conduct system testing and troubleshooting.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
A successful Big Data Developer should have:
A degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Scala and Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
ETL's experience.
Experience working with GCP (BigQuery, DataProc, Kubernetes) and/or Azure (Databricks, Azure Pipelines).
Databases (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Azure Data Explorer).
Experience in developing high-performance algorithms and predictive models.
Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Fluency in English is a must (B2-C1). You will join an international team and work in English. (Spanish not needed).
Nice to have:
Experience working with Python/PySpark, Airflow, UNIX Shell Scripting, AWS (EMR, Presto, EKS).
Experience working with Flink.
Experience working with Hortonworks/Cloudera.
Very valuable to have experience working in Tier1 or Telco companies.
Experience as a Tech Lead.
