Team Purpose To provide first class bid support and management to Getronics Global Business Development and Customer Account teams by taking responsibility for the creation and delivery of compelling propositions to our existing and new customer base.
Role Purpose Reporting to the Global Head of Bid Management, this role will manage virtual teams of subject matter experts in the development and submission of multiple high value bids from qualification through to bid submission and contract signature whilst ensuring adherence to governance processes and best in class bid management practices.
Responsibilities/Accountability: The ideal candidate will have experience and an in-depth understanding of all aspects of an ICT managed service solution including technology, service delivery and commercial architecture of medium to large IT outsourcing deals.
In addition, a good working knowledge of how solutions are delivered through different models, such as onshore, offshore and Cloud.
Providing support to the business development community in the coordination of the end-to-end bid process for competitive tenders, the candidate will be a self-motivated individual delivering:
Management of the end-to-end bid processEnsure consistent communication with Senior stakeholders both internally and externallyCreate and execute repeatable, innovative bid plans including budgets, roles, schedule and risksLead and manage all appropriate bid document reviewsProvide clear communications allowing senior stakeholders to influence desired outcomesManage diverse, geographically dispersed teams including 3rd party suppliers/sub-contractorsEnsuring the timely and consistent delivery of high quality bid submissions on time, to budget and specificationEnsuring all proposals produced are aligned with corporate brand guidelines and company bid management standardsDeveloping and maintaining excellent internal relationships with key knowledge centres and subject matter expertsEnsuring compliance with in-house governance processesReviewing bid submissions for quality, compliance and consistencyResearch market to ensure Getronics continue to deliver "best in class" responsesWork with marketing to profile upcoming tenders that would fit Getronics "sweet-spot"Management and coordination of contract creation process through to contract signatureSkills/Experience For this role you will ideally be degree educated with demonstrable skills and experience in the following areas:
