One Player Mission are excited to be working with a creative and dedicated studio who are devoted to delivering the ultimate gaming experience to their player communities. They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to be the specialist within the development team on a new multiplayer franchise.
RESPONSIBILITIESImplement and take ownership of backend services developments from start to finish.Contribute and adhere to agreed development methodology, uphold best coding practices, perform code reviews and pay consideration to long-term quality.Evaluate third-party solutions and be part of the decision to develop your own solutions or choose a SaaS platform.EXPERIENCEExpert understanding of software and architecture.Previous experience in a development role at a reputable game studio.Experience developing backend services related to videogames.Modern development practices: TDD, Integration testing, automated testing.Experience developing and shipping games for modern platforms.BENEFITSRemote options.Flexitime with core hours.Ability to learn and develop.
