About the role: As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Our Client is a fast-growing, profitable, well-funded, and dynamic global payments company. Its offices are located in Israel, New York, and more. It serves thousands of corporates and millions of end-users (payment receivers) in 190+ countries. The R&D organization holds almost 500 workers (Developers, Manual QA, Automation QA, DBA, IT, Professional services/production support). R&D teams operate in SCRUM methodology, with product managers involved in each team. Client systems are based on Microsoft and open-source technologies serving both international WEB users and the Company internal users. R&D is looking to extend its capacity for new developments and existing product enhancements, with high quality and fast pace of delivery.
Responsibilities Architect test automation frameworks from scratch
Develop automated functional UI tests & API/Service level tests
Integrate automated scripts into the CI/CD process
Develop, maintain, and expand automated testing infrastructure
Devise and document test frameworks, coding standards, preferred design patterns, and development methodologies
Ensure code quality with peer reviews to ensure guidelines and standards are followed
Define Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, and testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product as a part of the test automation process
Conclude and report about the quality of the product under test
Collaborate with other members of the QA team to automate the manual test processes
Manage, analyze, and mitigate testing risks
Onboarding of new team members on the project
Provide technical advice for the testing teams
Requirements 4+ years of professional experience in web automation testing
Strong understanding of OOP
Solid skills in C#
Experience with automated testing tools: Selenium
Practical experience with relational and non-relational databases
Practical experience in API testing and tools like RestSharp and Postman
Experience with continuous integration processes and tools, CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of Azure DevOps services
Experience of working with version control systems (git)
Excellent knowledge of different testing methods, techniques, types, and methodologies
Experience creating test documentation (test strategy, test plans, etc.)
Experience in the creation of automation frameworks from scratch
Experience of working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban development environment
Good English skills – Upper-Intermediate
Desirable Experience with BDD, ATDD, and TDD approaches
Experience with EntityFramework, MSTest, NLog, AutoMapper, FluentAssertions, Coralogix, Dynatrace, RabbitMQ, Swagger
