We are looking for a Senior Auditor to join our international Finance department.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible to establish the audit function at FREENOW and to evaluate the effectiveness of processes and internal controls and overall contribute to the improvement of risk management and thus avoidance of risk at FREENOW.
YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:
Establish and develop a new audit function within FREENOW.Work with stakeholders to improve risk management at FREENOW.Develop strategies to mitigate risks, enhance internal controls, and safeguard company assets.Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, make recommendations for internal controls' enhancements.Conduct comprehensive financial and operational audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.Work closely with management to implement and monitor control improvements, ensuring ongoing compliance and risk management.Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.Communicate audit results to management and senior stakeholders, providing insights that contribute to informed decision-making and continuous improvement.TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
Proven experience in compliance/risk/audit related fields (5+ years in auditing role, either in an audit firm and/or inhouse)Good command of the German language and fluent in EnglishExcellent communicator both to senior management and to ICs, with the ability to negotiate and influence decisions.Attention to detail, time management and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlinesSelf-motivated, proactive and with excellent interpersonal skills in order to build relationships with, and gain the credibility of, key stakeholdersBENEFITS & PERKS IN A NUTSHELL:
