Senior Architect Consultant Role Context: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Architect, with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, to join our growing Master Planning & Facilities team in Worley Consulting. Also, have over 10 years of architectural experience and a strong passion for sustainable design, you will play a pivotal role in guiding projects to success. The successful candidate will be based in Madrid.
You'll be: The candidate should possess self-motivation and a strong enthusiasm for architectural practice, focusing on creating innovative and functional building designsAbility to communicate effectively with the customer, the design team and other stakeholdersAbility to prioritize, plan work, track progress of self and others and agree and monitor targets to keep deliverables on trackAbility to provide big-picture thinking before having all the required information, whilst understanding and planning for the challenges to consider at the implementation phaseAbility to identify and propose solutions that will have the greatest positive impact on a master plan or building projectStrong leadership skills and the ability to guide and mentor a team effectivelyExceptional communication and presentation skillsProficiency in relevant architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit)Ability to build a strong contact network within Worley´s different teamsDrive for innovation and continuous improvementYou'll have: Academic Background: A recognized and relevant Degree in Architecture or equivalent that will lead to registration as a Professional Engineer. Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in Urban Design or Master Planning.
Experience: Feasibility studies evaluating alternative design solutions and quantifying their impact on key project objectivesLead and oversee architectural projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality design and adherence to sustainability principlesManage client relationships, understanding their needs and translating them into architectural solutions that exceed expectationsCollaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure projects meet objectives, timelines, and budget requirementsCoordinate design groups, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environmentWe highly value individuals with demonstrable experience in concept design, conceptual brainstorming, or architecture competitionsTechnical Knowledge: Technical and practical architectural skillsDeveloping skills in architectural engineering-specific softwareQuick sketch (handmade and 3d models) skillsProficient in Revit, CAD & PhotoshopGraphic communication skillsSome skills in the use of relevant software such as MS Office SuiteSoft Skills Problem-solving skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionMoving Forward: We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
