Get to Know our Team: The Regional management office (RMO) works within the Supply organization to identify and optimize growth opportunities on hotel supply for Agoda. The team is responsible for supply health and sales performance, as well creating and managing initiatives, to measure and implement change. We collaborate with multiple departments and produce highly visible results backed up by data. Utilizing powerful tools and possessing an end-to-end view of how Agoda works, the RMO team offers a unique opportunity for anyone who thrives in challenging and fast-paced environments.
The Opportunity: Our main objective will be to lead the analysis and data visibility required to identify opportunities for Agoda's growth in the region. Your role is also to use data to provide transparency and efficiency to the Business Development teams on the ground and guide them in growing the business. You will be instrumental in ensuring there is consistency in data being used for reporting, identifying value-added data to help the business grow as well as using data to make strategic business decisions. You will be expected to dig into data to provide business insights, guide decision-making and offer valuable inputs to further grow our business model. You should be well versed in identifying, presenting and implementing projects in a dynamic environment. Some understanding of e-commerce and business metrics (such as conversion and ROI) is important, as well as high proficiency in data and analytics. We're looking for the future leaders who think critically, test, learn from mistakes, and adapt quickly.
In this Role, you'll get to: Analyze and develop reports and models we can use for performance tracking and optimization, drawing recommendations from your analysis Build, enhance and streamline reports and dashboards that help team members and internal stakeholders understand the performance of their business and identify action points Perform ad-hoc analysis on business trends and results independently, translate and communicate results to leadership and key stakeholders Provide input on ongoing projects and initiatives to reach business targets; run and assess your proposed actions in collaboration with the relevant teams Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve team performance and measurement in the future Analyze the impact of business initiatives, use data to make recommendations and propose changes Hone your analytical skills in better understanding business and conversion drivers and how to optimize them Prepare and present high quality weekly reports and business insights to leadership Work in a data-driven environment Use out-of-the-box thinking to develop and implement solutions to unique challenges Work and thrive cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging environment Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar quantitative discipline. MBA or other advanced technical degree preferred. Strong data skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI or similar. Analytical mindset, with proven track record in using data to measure performance and make decisions Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems using data Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Excellent skills in presenting and analyzing data and creating actionable reports (Strong business acumen). Entrepreneurial thinking, with experience implementing innovative ideas or products in complex organizations. Strategic thinking and planning, effective at breaking down complex problems and driving and managing change. Excellent communication skills with proven ability to use data to convey complex messages clearly and with conviction to different stakeholders. Experience in data analytics, strategy/business insights for a fast-growing globally operating tech company preferred.
