(Senior) Accounting Manager - Spain (M/F/D) (Eri-32)

We're looking for a (Senior) Accounting Manager to join our Team in Madrid!How you'll be hosting with heart:You are responsible for accounting and local financial management for our Spanish Limehome subsidiary (Accounting and financial closing, Payment operations, handling of travel expenses, reimbursements). You will be our third employee in Spain in our Finance department and will have colleagues in the German team as well.You are responsible for monthly and yearly closing activities for the Spanish subsidiary incl. filing of tax declarations in close collaboration with our tax advisor.You are the main contact person for our limehome HQ Finance team, local tax advisors and auditors and will occasionally support in special project initiatives in Spain (e.g., set-up of permanent tax establishments, MA integration, banking relationships).You are responsible for the set-up, implementation, and maintenance of the local finance tool landscape, the implementation of our global accounting template, defining and improving processes, and the further insourcing of accounting tasks from our tax advisor.You will provide financial controlling and budgeting support for our Spanish General Manager by offering ad-hoc insight into the subsidiary financials.What you need to shoot for the stars:You have a business or accounting finance-related university degree or similar qualification from vocational training.You have proficient command of Spanish and English both verbally and written and feel comfortable communicating with internal as well as external stakeholders. Portuguese would be a plus.You have first work experience in a similar role in a start-up company, a growth environment, or in a tax advisory/audit company (Big 4 or similar).You have knowledge and experience in dealing with Spanish GAAP and Spanish tax legislation (especially VAT).You have good command of Microsoft Office and Accounting Systems (e.g. Ubiquo, Sage or other ERP-systems).Who we are:How we work: #J-18808-Ljbffr
