GuardarYou will be managing the Accounting, Tax & Reporting (Local GAAP and UK GAAP) for LATAM & SE. You will be in the Madrid office, and part of the Finance Team for Iberia, Italy, and LATAM. You will report to the Finance Director.Main Responsibilities & Task:Backup for LATAM Senior Accountant during paternity leaveReconciliation process within BPO local compliance and UK GAAP reportingLocal BPO: manage the relationship with local BPO for accounting and tax purposes, annual accounts, and local compliance.Local Compliance: ensure local compliance for accounting, tax, annual accounts, local reports, local administrative requirements.Mapping accounting: you are responsible for mapping accounts to reconcile LOCAL GAAP with UK GAAP monthly.Treasury: you will be the approval person for bank payments and manage the relationship with the local banks during the paternity leave period of the Senior Accountant of LATAM.Payroll: you will be responsible for managing final accounting in D365 (group accounting system ERP) and coordinate with HR and local BPO for proper support files according to finance requirements.Tax Compliance: manage and reconcile the tax compliance and bookkeeping in D365 (VAT, Withholding tax, Income tax, and local taxes).Tax Reconciliation from Local BPO & D365Balance Sheet Reconciliation: you will be responsible for the BS reconciliation for your remit.Group Reporting package: perform and manage the group reporting package for your remit.Audit: internal and external support and coordination for your remit.You will be the point of contact for LATAM accounting, tax, and reporting.Revenue Assurance: supervise and ensure revenue assurance is followed up based on company policies and procedures for LATAM.Account Receivable: ensure the billing process is followed up as per LOCAL GAAP and Group Policies and UK GAAP for LATAM.Budget: you will support the budgeting processBudget: you will work closely with the FD during the process of collecting information, cost estimation, headcount, salary cost, etc.Budget templates: you will fulfill information on Group templates on time and reach deadlines for submission.Job Requirements:Bachelor's in business administration, Accounting, and FinanceAccounting experience for LATAM countries is preferable (Brazil, México, Chile at least), knowledge of local accounting GAAP and TAX compliance.Minimum of 8 years' experience as an accountantAbility to implement processes and procedures to simplify and increase efficiency and accuracy.Capacity to identify and understand critical and complex situations, identify risk, and implement improvements.Extensive knowledge of IFRS, tax, and internal controls.ERP Financial Accounting system experience, preferably D365High level of ExcelBudgeting and Forecasting experienceExperience in Multinational Company with short deadlines for Group ReportingExperience in Shared Services or ClusterAnalytical ProfileProactive and a do attitude.Leadership skillExcellent communication skills and capacity to manage a team remotely.Fluent English professionalTipo de contrato: TEMPORARYEspecialización: Contabilidad y finanzasÁrea: Jefe ContableSector: ConsultoríaBanda salarial: €40,000 - €42,000 anualmenteTipo de trabajo: PresencialNivel de experiencia: Mando intermedioUbicación: MadridReferencia: 2251242/001Fecha de publicación: 5 de agosto de 2024Consultor/a: Javier Gonzalez
