They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage all aspects of accounting for both the family office and their personal finances.
This is a long-term position offering the opportunity to work with a newly formed team of professionals and a welcoming family.The role is based out of the family office in Marbella and requires a proactive, adaptable professional with extensive experience in accounting, preferably with a background in both corporate and private settings.Key Responsibilities:Comprehensive Accounting Management: Handle all accounting for the family office and personal finances in Spain, including preparing and maintaining balance sheets, profit-and-loss tracking, and managing expenses.Payroll Administration (Nóminas): Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees in compliance with Spanish regulations.Financial Reporting: Provide clear, regular financial updates to the principals, including forecasting, budgeting, and expenditure tracking.Compliance & Taxation: Ensure full compliance with Spanish tax laws and financial regulations, working closely with external auditors and advisors as needed.Team Collaboration: Liaise with other family office team members and external professionals to streamline financial operations.Candidate Profile:Qualifications: A BA in Accounting & Finance (Grado en Contabilidad y Finanzas) or equivalent degree is highly preferred.Experience: 10 years of proven experience in accounting, ideally in a similar role within a family office, corporate environment, or a combination of both.Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for this role.Local Residency: Candidates must already reside in the Marbella area or nearby within Costa del Sol.Personal Attributes: An adaptable personality with a can-do attitude.
