Senior Accountant

Description Functions and Responsibilities:Supervise and support the preparation of the Annual Accounts of the Company and guarantee compliance with accounting and tax obligations at the local level.Generate, maintain and report financial statements under local regulations and IFRS 17.Supporting the Controlling team in the preparation of the budgetSupport the Capital team in the preparation of the information to be reported under Solvency IIMonitor and stabilise the use of the new ERP (Microsoft Dynamics, MSD) accounting system.Generating annual, quarterly and monthly management reportsIdentify and implement improvements in the area's processesInteraction with the accounting department of the parent company in the UK and local operations when necessary Requirements Must have requirements:Desirable Degree in Economics, Business, Economics or Business Administration and Management, Actuarial.5-6 years of experience in the insurance industry (motor will be a plus), in similar roles. Big four experience will also be valuable.Knowledge of International insurance standards (IFRS17), Solvency II and local GAAP (for the preparation of annual accounts) and internal control will be an asset.Knowledge of accounting systems (MSD is a plus) and financial management.Solid knowledge of Office Package (advanced Excel)Advanced English level Personal Skills:MeticulousCalculator, predictor and analyticalCapacity to work under pressureAbility to adapt to changeBargaining power#J-18808-Ljbffr
