Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant will be a member of the ASSC Accounting team. He/she will be responsible for the US GAAP Financial Statements of all the Legal Entities in the countries in his/her scope.He/she will provide accounting guidance and functional expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of all accounting/financial processes within the Accounting team.Key Responsibilities- Ensuring full understanding, completeness and accuracy of entity reporting: Full ownership of end-to-end record-to-report process from a US GAAP perspective/ Local GAAP if applicable.- Provide accounting guidance and functional expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of all accounting/financial processes within the Accounting team.- Support and guidance to other Center teams including issue resolution to ensure full Center ownership.- On-going monitoring of Account Reconciliations in compliance with the iff Global Account Reconciliation Policy.- Participation in any related audit in collaboration with local Controllership organizations.- Support execution and maintenance of effective Internal Controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.Core Competencies- Strategic Agility- Results Accountability- Effective communication- Leadership abilities- Critical thinkingFunctional Competencies- Broad Accounting knowledge (US GAAP, Other Local GAAPs)- Overall understanding of transactional and reporting systems and related interdependencies- Multitasks, ability to navigate between different complex matters to quickly identify investigation and resolution paths- Good planning & organizing skills.- Problem-solving and solution orientedQualifications- Degree in Accounting or equivalent- Minimum 3 years of finance experience- Fluent English- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and Local GAAP#J-18808-Ljbffr
