About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with over five years of experience for booking general accounting operations, controlling, and verifying our financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Ensure timely bank payments.
Prepare cash-flow forecasts. Reconcile bank accounts. Prepare financial statements according to schedule.
Support month-end and year-end close process.
Assist with tax audits and tax returns (SII knowledge is required).
Assist in external and internal audits.
Liaise with our Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures.
Qualifications:
Over five years of experience in accounting.
Extensive knowledge in accounting, Spanish GAAP, and financial entities accounting regulations is a must.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, macros, pivot tables.
Proactivity and autonomy.
Desirable skills include experience as an auditor and knowledge of consolidation.
Budgeting and forecasting experience, including experience with BDE reports.
