Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant will be a member of the ASSC Accounting team.
He/she will be responsible for the US GAAP Financial Statements of all the Legal Entities in the countries in his/her scope.He/she will provide accounting guidance and functional expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of all accounting/financial processes within the Accounting team.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring full understanding, completeness, and accuracy of entity reporting: Full ownership of end-to-end record-to-report process from a US GAAP perspective/ Local GAAP if applicable.Provide accounting guidance and functional expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of all accounting/financial processes within the Accounting team.Support and guidance to other Center teams including issue resolution to ensure full Center ownership.On-going monitoring of Account Reconciliations in compliance with the iff Global Account Reconciliation Policy.Participation in any related audit in collaboration with local Controllership organizations.Support execution and maintenance of effective Internal Controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.Core CompetenciesStrategic AgilityResults AccountabilityEffective communicationLeadership abilitiesCritical thinkingFunctional CompetenciesBroad Accounting knowledge (US GAAP, Other Local GAAPs)Overall understanding of transactional and reporting systems and related interdependenciesMultitasks, ability to navigate between different complex matters to quickly identify investigation and resolution pathsGood planning & organizing skills.Problem-solving and solution orientedQualificationsDegree in Accounting or equivalentMinimum 3 years of finance experienceFluent EnglishSolid knowledge of US GAAP and Local GAAPWe are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
