The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and accounting, with a proven track record in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights. Experience working with U.S. clients and proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.Responsibilities:Financial Management and Reporting:Oversee all accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, GL, and revenue recognition.Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Manage month-end and year-end close processes.Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.Compliance and Internal Controls:Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.Coordinate and manage external audits and tax preparations.Team Leadership and Collaboration:Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and initiatives.Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.Proven experience as a Controller, ideally with a focus on working with U.S. clients.Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is required.In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.Benefits:100% remote workUSD salaryGrowth opportunitiesFlexible schedulePTO policy (28 available days per year)Sick daysMaternity/paternity leave#J-18808-Ljbffr
