Your Mission as a Senior Accountant In this crucial role, you will spearhead efforts to maintain financial integrity and drive efficiency within the accounting department. Your responsibilities will be pivotal in enhancing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to its continued growth and innovation in the industry. You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Senior Accountant Oversee daily accounting department operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and financial reporting. Analyze financial information, ensuring accurate financial status summarization. Lead timely client invoice submissions and collections in coordination with the sales team. Conduct bank reconciliations and manage intercompany transactions. Supervise junior accountants, assist in budgeting, and prepare financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and IFRS, coordinating with auditors to maintain financial accuracy. Develop and refine internal controls and accounting policies to strengthen the department's efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Senior Accountant: At least 5 years of general experience with 3 years in the oil gas Services preferred. BSc in Accounting or related field familiarity with oil gas services is a plus. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.G., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel. Strong communication and email writing skills are crucial for this role. Libyan nationals only. Proficiency in English is required. Additional Information: Type of Position: \ Full-Time (Office-based) Working Days Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Location: Benghazi
