Kenes Group, one of the world's leading Professional Conference Organizers of medical and scientific events, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager to become an integral part of its Business Unit.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing key client accounts, cultivating, and sustaining strong client relationships, and overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of events.
As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will build and maintain strong relationships, provide strategic guidance, and ensure the seamless execution of projects that align with client objectives and organizational goals.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop long-term relationships with Kenes clients, actively contributing to the growth and promotion of their businesses.Partner with clients, offering strategic insights and generating actionable recommendations for achieving business goals, seamless execution, and implementation.Responsible for direct management and professional/personal development and satisfaction of team members.Lead, motivate and empower the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.Work closely with clients to understand their business needs; plan and present creative, practical solutions to enhance business outcomes.Overall accountability for congress budgets.
Achieve targets and maximize profits for all stakeholders.Effectively communicate client messages, requests, and goals to the internal team.Participate in client meetings and collaborate with CRMs to develop and enhance partnerships.Coordinate with multiple departments to address client issues, resolve conflicts, manage performance, striving to always improve the level of service.Design and produce documents and presentations for clients; clearly communicate client ROI.Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and accountability for all congress/client-related matters.Accountable for the delivery and quality of work produced by the team.Requirements & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications or a related field (significant, related experience may be considered as a substitute).3-5 years of proven experience in client account management, including familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures within a service environment.Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in managing effective client relationships, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering exceptional results.Experience in conducting client meetings, delivering impactful presentations, and leading negotiations to foster business growth and improve client satisfaction.Experience in managing budgets over €1 million - advantage.Experience in managing direct employees and teams - advantage.Excellent computer skills, including all Microsoft Office programs; knowledge of CRM - advantage.English - native or mother tongue level; knowledge of other European languages - advantage.
