The Senior Account Manager Europe is responsible for planning, directing, leading the team, and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and maintain staff levels; partnering with Human Resources to recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train high performing employeesCoach, mentor, and develop staff, including new hire onboarding and corrective action, career development planning, and creating opportunitiesInstruct team members on their roles and responsibilities, supervising them day-to-dayPromotes a culture that is consistent with the organization and emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and valuesImplements changes and new systems or programs within the departmentMotivate employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and continuous improvement, setting employee goals and objectives.Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goalsIdentify areas of overspendingEvaluate and make recommendations to improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and outputMake business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organizations policies and proceduresReview performance data to monitor and measure productivity and goalsPrepares periodic reports for management to track accomplishmentsCommunicates regularly with other managers and other designated contacts within the organization, collaborating effectively with managers to solve problems across departmentsFunction as a liaison or moderator and know when to seek assistance from other resources in resolving conflictsConducts performance reviews and makes compensation recommendationsEnsures continuity of the team through cross training and succession planningPlan and facilitate effective meetingsPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assignedKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Demonstrate ability to complete all tasks with a high degree of accuracy, diligence, and follow-upEnsure clear, concise, accurate, and timely communicationAnalyze and problem-solve effectively and efficientlyWork calmly and effectively in a demanding environmentAbility to quickly learn various software programsDelegates tasks effectivelyMaintain confidentiality in all tasksMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field5+ years of experience in a related roleProven experience in a managerial roleFluent English is a must.
Ability to speak French and/or Italian would be an advantage.Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and WordExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to multitask/prioritize based on urgencyManage/follow-up with all aspects of the account team and its assigned accountsAbility to travel periodically, when necessary
