About the role: The Senior Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for both client retention as well as growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new products and services. You will consult with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Gartner's products and services.
What you'll do: Account management with an outcome of increased customer satisfaction and an increase in retention and account growthQuota responsibility of $800,000+ of contract value within a territory of major client accounts in the Austrian marketMastery and consistent execution of Gartner's sales methodologyAccount planning and territory managementManaging forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basisMaintaining competitive knowledge and focusIn-depth knowledge of Gartner's products and servicesWhat you'll need: 8+ years of experience with proven consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or consultative environment), with evidence of prior success in SalesStrong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence and sales acumenProven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizationsStrong computer proficiency and presentation skillsKnowledge of the full life cycle of the sales processBachelor's or master's degree – desiredProficiency in English and GermanOur Offer Competitive salary with an OTE >150k €, depending on experienceUncapped commission potentialCar allowance and other corporate benefits such as pension plan, lunch vouchers, etc.Annual Winner Circle event for you and your plus one based on target achievementHybrid, virtual first working environment with an office located in the city center of ViennaHigh-quality sales education and lifelong learningWho are we?
