The Opportunity This Senior Account Director will be the client lead for one of M&C; Saatchi's biggest financial services clients, and is responsible for managing relationships with key client contacts, and overseeing their client's day-to-day communications requirements; forecasting and processacross integrated campaigns – covering communications incorporating Integrated, Digital, Social, Content and Branding projects. They will foster close collaboration with Brand Strategy, Creative & Design and Integrated Production teams. A Snapshot Of What You'll Do Innately understand the client's business and seeks ways to add value to drive the client business in terms of creative product, market share and brand recognition. Strategically drives the client's marketing product within the category; anticipates potential competitive threats or opportunities. Makes recommendations to client. Monitor the health of the account team and ensures that resource is appropriate and profitable. Build and nurture beneficial working relationships with the wider agency team by actively listening and seeking guidance. Use learnings on campaign performance to orchestrate maximum effectiveness on future campaigns, from brief through to production and implementation. Support Managing Partner/Group Account Director when required. Act as mentor to the junior members of the Account Management team, setting a positive example for team behaviour, learning and collaboration. Plus much more. Your Ideal Experience Previous experience working as a Senior Account Director, ideally from a creative agency environment. Proven experience leading integrated campaigns and comms projects, exposure to the Financial Services industry is ideal. In-depth knowledge of communications projects: TV, radio, print production, sponsorships & other emerging media including digital; web, email, mobile. A leader - proven ability to build and inspire a diverse team, to elevate quality of work and ideas to the next level. An influencer – able to take people on a journey, to achieve buy-in across critical issues. Passionate about great ideas, underpinned by commitment to delivery.
