We are looking for a passionate Senior 3D Props/Generalist Environment Artist to bring their skills to our Dungeons & Dragons PC/Console video game project. This innovative project blends Action-RPG/Survival mechanics with the unique elements of life simulation games to redefine the genre and capture the imagination of gamers around the world.Responsibilities:Create high-quality, stylized 3D assets (props, weapons, gear, etc.) using the latest hard-surface, organic modeling, and texturing techniques.Model assets using reference photographs and Concept Art materials.Collaborate with other creative departments as necessary to ensure that the props function as intended.Integrate and validate your work within the Unity game engine, ensuring performance and technical quality.Troubleshoot asset errors and address creative feedback in keeping with the project's visual direction.Ensure the timely completion of assets on style and at the desired quality bar.Mentor Intermediate and Junior 3D Prop Artists.Contribute to improving the pipeline and the technology that we're using.Document and communicate workflow and best practices to support consistency across the Art Team.Qualifications:High-quality portfolio of gamedev-relevant 3D Prop Art, preferably with an emphasis on stylization.Able to interpret and follow reference material to create clean, detailed, and accurate 3D models.Experience with industry-leading game engines such as Unity or Unreal (Unity experience is a desired plus).A mixture of hard surface and organic asset modeling skills.A strong understanding of shape, form, and composition.Proven abilities in optimized 3D asset creation.Proficiency with industry-standard modeling tools such as 3DSMAX, Maya, Blender, Zbrush, and texture/material authoring tools such as Photoshop and Substance.Solid experience with PBR workflows.Ability to be resourceful and come up with creative solutions.The ability to work well within a team.Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
